Peningkatan Pemahaman Dasar Pemrograman Python melalui Pemanfaatan Google Colaboratory pada Siswa SMA Bina Marga

This community service activity aims to enhance digital literacy and basic programming skills among students. In the context of modern education, understanding programming logic is an essential competency that should be introduced from an early age. Through basic training in the Python programming language using Google Colaboratory, participants were introduced to techniques for writing and executing code directly on a cloud-based platform without additional software installation. The methods used included lectures, demonstrations, and interactive hands-on practice. The results showed an improvement in participants’ understanding of fundamental programming concepts and a growing interest in learning more about information technology. Participants also demonstrated high enthusiasm throughout the training sessions. Overall, this activity plays an important role in strengthening digital literacy, developing 21st-century skills, and supporting the implementation of adaptive technology-based learning within the educational environment..

Strengthening Halal Ecotourism and Community MSMEs through Asset-Based Community Development toward Community Empowerment in Timampu, East Luwu

Timampu in East Luwu has rich lakefront and cultural assets, yet its potential for halal ecotourism and community-based MSMEs remains underutilized, with weak local institutions and fragmented collaboration among village government, university, and industry partners. This community service program aimed to strengthen halal ecotourism governance and community MSMEs through an Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach to promote more inclusive and sustainable community empowerment. Participatory ABCD stages—inkulturasi, discovery, dream, design, and implementation—were applied using focus group discussions, asset mapping, village dreaming workshops, mentoring for halal MSMEs, and reflective evaluation with youth, women’s groups, and village institutions. The intervention produced a collectively agreed village dream map, a draft governance structure and work plan for a tourism group, initial standard operating procedures for services and cleanliness, strengthened halal MSME business practices, and a more synergistic partnership between Timampu Village, UIN Palopo, and PT Vale.

Meningkatkan Minat Siswa SMK Nurul Huda terhadap Keuangan dan Akuntansi melalui Pelatihan Public Speaking

The development of the modern workforce requires students to possess not only technical skills but also strong communication abilities, particularly in the field of finance and accounting. However, students’ low interest in this field remains a significant issue, often caused by passive and less interactive learning methods. This community service activity aims to enhance students’ interest in finance and accounting at SMK Nurul Huda through public speaking training. The method employed was a participatory approach using experiential learning techniques, including material presentation, interactive discussions, and direct public speaking practice. Data were collected through observation and participant feedback, then analyzed using descriptive qualitative methods. The results indicate improvements in student participation, speaking confidence, self-confidence, and interest in finance and accounting. Students who were initially passive became more active and were able to express their ideas more systematically. The training also helped students understand financial concepts in a more contextual and relevant way to their daily lives. Public speaking training is proven to be an effective and innovative approach to increasing student engagement and interest. It is recommended that similar activities be conducted continuously with longer duration to achieve more optimal results.

Penguatan Motivasi dan Perencanaan Karier melalui Program “Muda Berkarya, Tua Berjaya” bagi Siswa SMKN 13 Bekasi

The younger generation must also be ready to face the challenges of the highly competitive job market by having a strong interest in employment, the skills and knowledge to adapt to the workplace, and good career planning skills. The activity of community service is designed to increase students' motivation and readiness to join the workforce by using the program “Muda Berkarya, Tua Berjaya” in SMK Negeri 13 Bekasi. The techniques employed were motivational seminars, presentations, interactive discussions and self-reflection sessions. It included topics on personal potential development, the role of education and skills, career planning and building positive character traits for the future. Data was gathered by observing, documenting and evaluating the level of participation of the participants during the program. The findings showed that students' awareness of the youth productiveness, acquiring the competences needed for the labour market and establishing life goals has improved. In this programme, the students were motivated to continue learning, creating and preparing themselves to be a productive and competitive generation to meet future challenges successfully.

Pemetaan Problematika Pendidikan di Wilayah Terpencil Paramasan melalui Pendekatan Participatory Action Research (PAR)

This study examines the educational conditions in Paramasan, a remote area where unequal access to quality education remains a significant challenge. The main problems identified include inadequate school infrastructure, such as damaged classrooms, poor sanitation, and limited supporting facilities, as well as a shortage of teaching staff, with only four teachers serving all grade levels. These conditions have reduced the effectiveness of the learning process and negatively affected students' motivation and academic achievement. The study employed a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach by actively involving principals, teachers, students, and community leaders in identifying problems and formulating solutions. The findings highlight the urgent need for collaborative interventions, including improving school facilities, increasing the number of teachers, enhancing teacher competencies, and strengthening community participation. These measures are expected to promote educational equity, improve learning quality, and support sustainable educational development in Paramasan.
